15 Airport Hacks for Traveling

I ran across this great article from Skyscanner with 15 airport hacks for traveling comfortably. It is great list and my favorite items from this list are the following:

  • I always pack my portable phone charger.  I take a lot of photos and my phones seems to run down quickly.  It is helpful to be able to charge your phone whenever you aren’t near an outlet.
  • I always park at The Parking Spot at the airport.  I like their rewards program and if you stay a few times you can make enough points to park for your next vacation for free.
  • Don’t wear clothes, jackets, or shoes with too much “metal” that may set off the metal detector and delay the TSA screening process. I’ve learned which shirts and shoes not to wear.
  • Bring an empty stainless steel water bottle and fill it once you pass through security.
  • Sign up for Global Entry if you do international travel and you will automatically get TSA pre-check.
  • Pack several different sized Ziploc bags.  They can come in handy for all sorts of thing.
