Thank you for your interest in Vacation Is Easy! I have compiled a list of frequently asked questions to help you get started.

Q: What kind of services does Vacation Is Easy offer?

A: Vacation Is Easy specializes in creating unique and memorable travel experiences. I offer a variety of vacation options, including all-inclusive resorts (family and adults only), cruises, river cruises, rail vacations, adventure tours, hotels, resorts, large and small group tours (guided and unguided), travel insurance, major theme parks (Disney and Universal) and much more!  I can provide destination tips, best times to tour, transportation options, places to eat and what to pack. 

The average trip takes 38 hours to plan.  Do you have that kind of time?  I do!  I will tailor an itinerary to your wants and needs by finding accommodations, activities and transportation that fit best for you.

Q: What destinations does Vacation Is Easy cover?

A: I cover most major locations around the world, from the Caribbean to Asia, from Europe to South America and Africa, Australia / New Zealand, Arctic to Antarctica. If you're looking for something specific, I can help you find the perfect destination for your needs.

Q: What does it cost me to use Vacation Is Easy as my travel agent?

A: Short answer? Nothing. Vacation Is Easy is associated with Outside Agents / Cruises & Tours Unlimited, one of the nation’s largest host agencies, providing access to engage with hundreds of preferred suppliers (hotels, tour operators, etc.) that compensate me directly to find and book clients to their service and properties. If there are situations where I would need to charge a fee, I will let you know in advance. This type of scenario could happen if I agreed to research and book a trip with a vendor that does not work with travel agents directly.

Q: What does Vacation Is Easy NOT do?

A: I do not book individual flights without another travel component (hotel, resort, cruise, tour, etc). In the past, to book an airline ticket you either drove to the airport or to a travel agency and picked up your ticket. Airlines then paid / authorized compensation (commission) to the travel agent. That agent then had the ability to make any changes necessary to best accommodate the flier. Post 911, airlines immediately stopped compensation for travel agents and removed most of the capability to assist the ticketed flier. You are best dealing with the airline yourself using the tools the airlines provide to you - apps, websites, etc. unless you have booked the flights in conjunction with a cruise or tour.  I do book group flights if you have a group traveling and need help getting flights for the entire group.

Vacation Is Easy also does not book directly with AirBnB or VRBO as I prefer to only book properties that are fully vetted.  I do work with other travel partners that provide homes, villas, condos, etc. that are fully vetted.

Q: What is the process for booking a trip with Vacation Is Easy?

A: The first step is to call or text 469-222-8738 or email lillian@vacationiseasy.com. You can set up a call or zoom using this link. You will have one contact for your entire trip.  No need to sort through emails with multiple hotels, airlines, and attractions to worry if you made a payment with this hotel or that tour. Everything is booked directly with me. We are located in the Dallas, Texas area near the cities of Wylie, Sachse and Murphy, Texas.

Q: Will I get a better deal booking myself or through Vacation Is Easy?

A: My goal is to always get you the best value and service.  I belong to a large host agency and travel consortium with a lot of industry power and often can provide excellent pricing plus extra benefits / amenities not available to others.  I provide service to you from the start of the planning process through to your return home.  I am available by phone, text or email when you have questions or issues.  Unlike working with big box or online companies who just sell you a "product" you can get through to a person with me  - your personal travel concierge! I specialize in travel. Quality, reliability, problem-solving, courtesy, speed of service and after sales service is what you get with me - you are not just a number.  You will get help from a real person if something unexpected happens not waiting on hold for hours with a 1 800 number.

Q: Does Vacation Is Easy Travel offer any special offers or promotions?

A: Yes! I frequently can find promotions and special offers. My travel partners keep Vacation Is Easy posted on the latest deals and promotions and then I pass those on to you! Through my partners I can offer vacation packages, tours, hotels and cruise accommodations only offered to travel advisors. Be sure to check my website, Facebook and Instagram.  I also have a PRIVATE Facebook group that you are welcome to join Vacation Is Easy Travel Group.  I also often have group travel packages available and my current groups that you are welcome to join are listed on my website.

Q: How much money do you save your clients?

A: I don't claim to save my clients money.  To be honest, sometimes the price you find may be lower then mine.  I may be able to price match what you find as long as it is "apples to apples."  My value doesn't come in just finding the lowest price (but that's definitely a huge perk!).  My value comes in the form of saving you time from researching. It also comes from first hand professional knowledge of a destination. I belong to a large network of over 8,000 travel advisors and if I haven't been somewhere I can reach out and find someone quickly who has been there / done that. My value is in the peace of mind of knowing if something goes wrong I am there to help you. Sometimes it comes in the form of correcting a mistake the resort made while you sip a margarita. When you work with me you're a client, not just a booking number on a third party site.  Saving you $30 is fun, saving you $1500 is better but often times clients use me when my price is higher simply because of the value I bring to the table.

By the way, if you recently purchased a cruise through the cruise line on your own and you are within 30 days of the deposit and haven't made the final payment you can transfer the cruise to me and I can help with all of the other details, planning and any issues that come up.
